Arkansas Tech University will host a community Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) workshop from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19.

The workshop will take place in room 331 at Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center, 305 West Q Street on the ATU campus in Russellville. There will be no charge and no appointment is necessary.

The ATU Office of Financial Aid is sponsoring the event as a service to current and prospective post-secondary students.

“We will assist students and families with completing the FAFSA and will answer any questions they may have,” said Heather Taylor, ATU associate director of student aid. “The student does not have to be a prospective ATU student to attend this event. This event is for current ATU students as well.”

Students and parents/guardians are asked to bring, as applicable:

*FSA identification (created prior to event at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch if possible)
*identifying information (social security number, date of birth, date of marriage, etc.)
*2022 income information (federal income tax returns, W-2s, 1099s, etc.)
*proof of any untaxed income from 2022 (child support paid, child support received, veterans’ non-educational benefits, etc.)
