College of Business Presents Brent Garrett March 11

Brent Garrett

Arkansas Tech University alumnus Brent Garrett will offer the ATU College of Business Distinguished Lecture Series address for the spring 2020 semester on Wednesday, March 11.

Garrett will speak at 11 a.m. in the Doc Bryan Student Services Center Lecture Hall, 1605 Coliseum Drive in Russellville. Admission will be free and open to the public.

A 1988 graduate of Arkansas Tech, Garrett is president of Sirius Plumbing and Air Conditioning. His business serves the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

During his days as a student at ATU, Garrett was a member of the Wonder Boys football and golf teams, Student Government Association, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Wesley Foundation.

“I received so much support from coaches, faculty and administration,” Garrett told Tech Action magazine in 2019. “I am convinced their example, support and help provided the foundation for my success later in my life. Simply, my path and trajectory in life was set at Arkansas Tech.”

Garrett has given back to his alma mater as a member of the ATU Foundation Board of Directors and as a featured speaker at the 2019 ATU scholarship dinner. He has also mentored students at ATU-Ozark Campus.
