“Budgeting for Success” Grant Workshop April 16

Budgeting for Success April 2026

The Arkansas Tech University Office of Research and Sponsored Programs will present a free grant workshop entitled “Budgeting for Success” on Thursday, April 16.

It will take place from 9-10 a.m. in Rothwell Hall room 208, 106 West O Street in the ATU campus in Russellville.

Participation is free and open to the public.

Melanie Ewing, director of the ATU Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, described the event as “a practical workshop that helps develop clear, competitive grant budgets that align with sponsor guidelines and project goals.”

She went on to say that participants will “learn how to build realistic budgets, justify key expenses and avoid common budgeting mistakes that can weaken proposals” while gaining “tools and best practices to strengthen their funding applications.”
