Brown Bag Lunch Series Sheds Light on Research

Six members of the Arkansas Tech University Department of History and Political Science faculty shared their knowledge with the campus community during the 2024-25 academic year as participants in a brown bag lunch series.

The series speakers and the titles of their research presentations were:

  • Dr. Christopher Housenick, assistant professor of political science, “Place Your Bets”
  • Dr. Kelly Jones, associate professor of history, “The Untold Story of Lynching”
  • Dr. Aaron McArthur, department head and professor of history, “The Method to My Madness”
  • Dr. Greg Michna, associate professor of history, “Life After Death of a Minister: Stephen Williams, 1782 to present”
  • Dr. Jeffrey Pearson, associate professor of history, “Crazy Horse at the Battle of Little Bighorn”
  • Dr. Kelsey Utne, assistant professor of history, “Roman Gossip”
