Jordan Harper, author of the Edgar Award-winning “She Rides Shotgun” as well as “The Last King of California,” “Everybody Knows” and “A Violent Masterpiece,” will be the fall 2026 speaker for the Arkansas Tech University Department of English and World Languages Visiting Authors Series.
Harper will speak at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, in room 300 of Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center, 305 West Q Street on the ATU campus in Russellville. Admission will be free and open to the public.
A native of Missouri, Harper lives in Los Angeles. In addition to writing novels, Harper is also a television writer and producer who has worked on shows such as “The Mentalist” and “Gotham.”
As part of his appearance at ATU, Harper will perform a reading from “A Violent Masterpiece.”
Special guest S.A. Cosby is also scheduled to appear at the Oct. 5 event.
