Women With a Why 2020

The Arkansas Tech University Division of Student Affairs has planned five days of activities to correspond with International Women’s Week 2020.

International Women’s Week is a week of celebration, education and awareness surrounding women’s and gender issues.

The theme of the 2020 observance at ATU is “Women With a Why.”

Monday, March 9

Walk A Mile
2 p.m.
Doc Bryan Student Services Center Rotunda
Learn about the prevalence and impact of sexual assault as well as resources for preventing such acts of violence

Mindfulness Monday
4 p.m.

Tuesday, March 10

Well Woman Day
All Day
ATU Health and Wellness Center, Doc Bryan Suite 119
ATU female students may take advantage of a well woman exam provided by health care providers from the ATU Health and Wellness Center

Self-Defense Class
6 p.m.
ATU Department of Public Safety, 716 N. El Paso Ave. Russellville
