ATU Walk Raises $6,000+ For Suicide Prevention

2025 ATU Out of the Darkness Walk

Approximately 160 registered walkers and several community sponsors helped the 2025 Arkansas Tech University Out of the Darkness suicide prevention walk raise more than $6,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

The walk took place on the ATU campus in Russellville on Sunday, April 13. The ATU Health and Wellness Center and St. Mary’s Regional Health System Turning Point behavioral health program collaborate to organize the annual event, which dates back to 2014.

Participating sponsors for the 2025 walk included St. Mary’s Regional Health System, Conagra Brands, Pine Hills Counseling, Rivendell Behavioral Health Sciences of Arkansas, River Valley Psychology and Millard-Henry Clinic.
