Maria Zoccola will be the spring 2026 speaker for the Arkansas Tech University Visiting Authors Series.
Zoccola will speak at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 9, in Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center room 300B.
Admission will be free and open to the public. The program is hosted by the ATU Department of English and World Languages.
Zoccola is the author of “Helen of Troy, 1993,” a book of poems that is a New York Times Editors’ Choice pick and a National Public Radio and New Yorker magazine best book of 2025.
An educator from Memphis, Tenn., Zoccola holds writing degrees from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., and Falmouth University in Cornwall, England.
