ATU Students Finish Top 10 in National Competitions

Six Arkansas Tech University students earned national recognition during the 2023 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate National Leadership Conference June 22-25 in Atlanta, Ga.

Shayla Miller of Nashville earned second place in management concepts and fifth place in project management. Tandem Young of Dover collected fourth-place prizes in microeconomics and economic analysis/decision making.

Meghan Bledsoe of Springdale (ninth in networking concepts and 10th in programming concept) and Olivia Johnson of Pottsville (ninth in social media marketing and 10th in state of chapter presentation) also received multiple awards.

Julia Matteson of Centerton finished fifth in sports management and marketing. Aliyah Anderson of Ashdown claimed seventh place in information management.

FBLA is the largest business career and technical student organization in the world. FBLA helps more than 230,000 members prepare for careers in business each year.
