Arkansas Tech University Staff Senate will host a stem cell and bone marrow drive on Thursday, April 14.
The event will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the W.O. Young Building Ballroom. Participation is open to all.
Door prizes will include two $500 ATU scholarships provided by the ATU Office of Admissions, two $500 ATU scholarships provided by the ATU Foundation, one red parking hangtag for the 2022-23 academic year, one gift bag with snacks, drinks and coupons from Chartwells and one gift item from the Barnes and Noble College ATU Bookstore.
Those who choose to participate will have their cheek swabbed. Their information will become part of a database of potential donors to help individuals who are stricken with various forms of blood cancer.
ATU Staff Senate is partnering with Earl Young’s Team and DKMS Lab for this event.
