Arkansas Tech University will be represented by Savannah Brown of Star City, Kenleigh Garner of Hot Springs, Alli Beth King of Rison, Kate Manuel of Green Forest and Sophie Puckett of Jonesboro in the 2025 Miss Arkansas scholarship competition.
The event is scheduled for June 8-14 at the Robinson Center in Little Rock.
Brown is Miss Mount Nebo and an ATU junior majoring in elementary education. Her talent is vocal performance. Brown’s community service initiative is “Early Detection Saves Lives: Breast Cancer Education.”
Garner is Miss Petit Jean Valley and an ATU senior majoring in communication. Her talent is contemporary dance. Garner’s community service initiative is “Empowering Voices for All.”
King is Miss Boomtown and a 2024 graduate of ATU with a degree in communication. Her talent is tap dance. King’s community service initiative is “It Starts With One.”
Manuel is Miss North Central Arkansas and a 2025 graduate of ATU with a degree in elementary education. Her talent is vocal performance. Manuel’s community service initiative is “Si Se Puede: Empowerment Through Education.”
Puckett is Miss Arkansas Tech University and an ATU junior majoring in biology pre-medicine. Her talent is tap dance. Puckett’s community service initiative is “H.O.P.E. – Helping Other People Everyday.”
Miss Arkansas is an official preliminary to the Miss America competition.
