Arkansas Tech University is mourning the passing of student Victoria Danielle Sharp of Atkins.
Sharp died on Saturday, Feb. 8. She was 18.
A 2019 graduate of Morrilton High School, Sharp was a freshman at ATU.
Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Lemley Chapel, 1401 N. Church Street in Atkins.
The funeral service is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Hector First Assembly of God, 11421 Arkansas Highway 27.
“Students, faculty and staff are reminded that counselors are available in the Arkansas Tech Health and Wellness Center (479-968-0329) for those who need their services,” said Arkansas Tech President Dr. Robin E. Bowen. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Victoria’s family and friends.”
