ATU Public Safety to Collect Food for Fines April 6

Food for Fines Recap Spring 2022

The Arkansas Tech University Department of Public Safety will combat food insecurity in the Arkansas River Valley by hosting an event entitled Food for Fines on Thursday, April 6.

ATU students with current parking citations on file with the ATU Department of Public Safety are eligible to bring non-perishable, kid-friendly food items to Baswell Techionery from 2-4 p.m. the day of the drive.

For 10 non-perishable food items donated by a student, $20 in parking citations will be forgiven.

For 20 non-perishable food items donated by a student, $50 in parking citations will be forgiven.

Food collected during the drive will benefit children served by River Valley Food 4 Kids.

The offer is for current parking citations only. No future credit will be given.

Donors are asked to bring their T-number and license plate number in order to receive retirement of outstanding parking citation fines.
