Arkansas Tech University Department of Nursing faculty members Dr. Cheryl Monfee and Dr. Brittany Burris presented their research at the 2025 Sigma Theta Tau Region 6 Research Conference.
The title of Monfee’s presentation was “Stress and Coping Among BSN Nursing Students: A Pilot Study.”
Burris spoke on “The Effect of Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Risk Estimator Implementation on Statin Initiation.”
The conference took place at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, La.
Monfee and Burris participated in a clinical nurse educator certification course during their visit to Louisiana.
