Arkansas Tech University campuses in Russellville and Ozark will operate virtually on Wednesday, Feb. 19, due to inclement weather in the region.

Students are encouraged to check Blackboard and e-mail for assignments provided by their instructors.

Staff members will work remotely during this period of virtual operations.

Some essential in-person operations, including food service, public safety and facilities maintenance, will remain available in order to serve residential ATU students on the Russellville campus.

In alignment with its school partners, Arkansas Tech Career Center will not conduct classes on Wednesday, Feb. 19. ATCC faculty and staff will conduct university business remotely.

ATU senior administrators will monitor road conditions and will notify ATU faculty, staff and students of the university’s operational status for Thursday, Feb. 20, once a decision is made.

Information concerning ATU’s operational status during times of inclement weather is announced through ATU Alert text message, www.arkansastechnews.com, OneTech announcements, ATU social media presences and media outlets.
