Arkansas Tech University recognized staff members who are reaching milestones in their service to the institution in 2026 during an employee appreciation event at Chambers Cafeteria West Dining Room on Wednesday, March 4.
The 45 ATU employees who were honored during the reception have given a combined 640 years of service to Arkansas Tech.
ATU President Dr. Russell Jones presented the honorees with their awards.
“Everything at ATU makes it feel like a friendly environment you want to work in,” said Jones. “Everybody cares for each other, works together and treats it more like a family than just a place we go to work. Thank you for all that you do to make this a place where I’m excited to go to work every day.”
ATU faculty members who are reaching milestones in their service to the institution in 2026 will be similarly recognized during an event hosted by the ATU Office of Academic Affairs at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, in Chambers Cafeteria West Dining Room.
