Arkansas Tech University campuses in Russellville and Ozark will operate virtually on Tuesday, Feb. 18, due to inclement weather in the region.
Students are encouraged to check Blackboard and e-mail for assignments provided by their instructors.
Staff members will work remotely during this period of virtual operations.
Some essential in-person operations, including food service, public safety and facilities maintenance, will remain available in order to serve residential ATU students on the Russellville campus.
Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center is planning on being open until noon Tuesday, Feb. 18, for members of the ATU community who need to utilize its resources. Virtual library services will be available from noon-5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18.
In alignment with its school partners, Arkansas Tech Career Center will not conduct classes on Tuesday, Feb. 18. ATCC faculty and staff will conduct university business remotely.
ATU senior administrators will monitor the winter weather situation as it unfolds on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and will notify ATU faculty, staff and students of the university’s operational status for Wednesday, Feb. 19, once a decision is made.
