ATU Employee Appreciation Day Planned for March 4

The Arkansas Tech University Office of Human Resources will host a reception in celebration of Employee Appreciation Day 2026 on Wednesday, March 4.

The event will take place at 1:30 p.m. in Chambers Cafeteria West Dining Room. All ATU faculty and staff are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.

ATU staff members who are reaching milestones in their service to the institution in 2026 will be honored.

ATU faculty members who are reaching milestones in their service to the institution in 2026 will be similarly recognized during an event hosted by the ATU Office of Academic Affairs at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, in Chambers Cafeteria West Dining Room.

Employee Appreciation Day is observed in the United States on the first Friday of March each year. It was developed by author Dr. Bob Nelson and his publisher, Workman Publishing, upon the release of Nelson’s book “1,001 Ways to Reward Employees” in March 1994.
