Arkansas Tech University will host a community Halloween event for families in the Arkansas River Valley at Tucker Coliseum on Thursday, Oct. 30.
It will begin with a carnival outside the Tucker Coliseum entrance. The carnival will feature candy, games and a costume contest from 4:30-5:45 p.m.
Each residence hall at ATU will host a table. Additional tables will be staffed by representatives from the ATU Office of Admissions, the ATU Department of Public Safety, ATU Student Activities Board, ATU Student Government Association and Delta Zeta sorority.
The winners of the costume contest will be announced at approximately 6 p.m., just before the beginning of a Great American Conference volleyball match between Arkansas Tech and Henderson State University.
Admission to the ATU community Halloween event and the subsequent volleyball match will be free and open to the public.
The ATU community Halloween event is sponsored by the ATU Department of Residence Life.
