Ten Tiny Toes opened in Clarksville in March 2022 with assistance from the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center regional office at Arkansas Tech University.

When Darcy Pearson decided to go into business for herself, she turned to the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) regional office at Arkansas Tech University.

“The ASBTDC was a huge asset when I was starting my business,” said Pearson. “I was given information on how to estimate revenue versus cost of business, everything I needed to file in order to start my business and help filing those things. Anytime I have had a question or needed help with something, Ronda (Hawkins) has responded very quickly. She is incredibly knowledgeable and willing to help.”

That assistance helped Pearson launch Ten Tiny Toes imaging studio in Clarksville in March 2022. The business has provided her with an opportunity to apply her 10 years of experience as a registered sonography and imaging professional in a way that meets a market demand and allows her to spend more time with her family.

Ten Tiny Toes provides expectant parents with three-dimensional and four-dimensional images of their children while they are in the womb.

“It’s certainly not easy running your own business, but it is extremely rewarding when you see your hard work start to pay off,” said Pearson. “I would encourage anyone who is thinking of starting a business or even already has one to utilize the resources ASBTDC offers. It was invaluable to me. I could not have done it without their help.”
