Arkansas Tech’s Mongeon Shares “Vital Signs”

Arkansas Tech University faculty member Jessica Mongeon is presenting a solo exhibition of her artworks in Conway through Friday, Oct. 3.

“Vital Signs” is available for viewing at the Baum Gallery, which is located in McCastlain Hall on the University of Central Arkansas campus, weekdays from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. A public reception is scheduled for 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9.

According to information provided by the Baum Gallery, Mongeon’s exhibit features “drawings, paintings and mixed media works that span the last 11 years of her practice.”

Mongeon is associate professor of art at Arkansas Tech. She joined the ATU faculty in 2016. A two-time graduate of the University of North Dakota with Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees, Mongeon later added a Master of Fine Arts degree from Montana State University.
