Arkansas Tech University Parent and Family Relations has provided a move-in day map and additional information to help students and their families navigate the ATU campus in Russellville on move-in day 2026.
Shown above, the map includes identifiers for key stops during the move-in process on Sunday, Aug. 16.
In addition to the map, ATU Parent and Family Relations offers the following pieces of information relative to move-in day 2026:
- The check-in process for residence hall move-in begins at Tucker Coliseum; each student should report there at the time for which they registered.
- All first-time Arkansas Tech students will also check in for orientation at Tucker Coliseum.
- Commuter student check in for orientation begins at 1 p.m. at Tucker Coliseum.
- Volunteers — including registered student organization members, Wonder Boys and Golden Suns student-athletes, marching band members and university department representatives — will be on hand at each residence hall to assist with moving each student’s belongings into their room.
- There will be a special parent and family welcome at Ferguson Student Union beginning at 1:30 p.m.
- The parent and guardian student send off with university administrators will take place at 2:45 p.m. in Ferguson Student Union.
- Free water, shaved ice and sodas will be available on Mullens Plaza at Ferguson Student Union from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
- The ATU Bookstore will be open in Doc Bryan Student Services Center from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- We Proudly Serve Starbucks will open in Baswell Techionery at 8 a.m. All other food service options in Baswell Techionery will open at 11 a.m.
- Chambers Cafeteria will offer a special lunch rate of $8 plus tax for parents and family members so they can experience a meal with ATU’s new food service provider, Sodexo.
- Late check-in for new student orientation is from 3-4 p.m. at Tucker Coliseum; the orientation opening session will be in the coliseum at 4 p.m.
