Students from the Arkansas Tech University Department of Agriculture and Tourism will put their fall semester work on display during a poinsettia sale at the ATU Greenhouses on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
Poinsettias will be available for purchase from 8 a.m. until the inventory is exhausted.
This marks the 39th year the ATU agriculture program has hosted a poinsettia sale.
Dr. Matthew Wilson, ATU associate professor of horticulture, oversees the sale. He said production this year focused on miniature varieties of poinsettia and the number of plants available is smaller than in past years.
The ATU Greenhouses are located on the north end of the Arkansas Tech campus in Russellville at 380 West Harrell Drive, just west of the ATU Office of Facilities Management buildings. There will be signs on the days of the sale to direct shoppers to the greenhouses. Payment may be made as cash, check or credit/debit card.
