Approximately 45 students from five Arkansas high schools participated in a preview day hosted by the Arkansas Tech University Department of Communication and Media Studies on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Students from the high schools in Clarksville, Dardanelle, Green Forest, Lamar and Pottsville toured ATU’s newspaper facilities, broadcast studio and theatre. They also learned about the department’s academic programs from ATU students and professors, gained information about upcoming media competitions sponsored by the ATU Department of Communication and Media Studies and took advantage of photo opportunities with Jerry the Bulldog, ATU campus ambassador.
