Journalist and author Randal Seyler will offer a presentation entitled “The Front Page to the Frontier” as part of the RPL Author Series at Arkansas Tech University on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Seyler will speak in Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center room 300B, 305 West Q Street in Russellville, at 6 p.m. Admission will be free and open to the public.
Metro editor for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette River Valley edition, Seyler is the author of the Jehovah Moon series of Western novels. The books are set in the 1870s Texas frontier through the eyes of a former lawman and scout.
Seyler’s talk will explore the intersection of real-world reporting and fiction writing. He will detail how his decades of experience in newsrooms across Arkansas prepared him to create and write the ongoing story of Jehovah Moon.
