Arkansas Tech University student Abby Dullenty of Russellville died on Saturday, July 25, 2026. She was 22.
According to information provided by the ATU College of Education and Health, Dullenty was an ATU senior majoring in middle level education with an emphasis in English and language arts. She was pursuing minors in creative writing and accounting.
Dullenty first enrolled at Arkansas Tech as a concurrent student from 2020-22. After graduating from Russellville High School, she attended the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton from 2022-24. She had been a student at Arkansas Tech since fall 2024.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 31, at Shinn Funeral Home, 800 West Main Street in Russellville.
