Students, faculty and staff from the Arkansas Tech University Department of Teaching and Educational Leadership participated in the eighth annual Arkansas Educator Commitment Signing Week at the conclusion of the spring 2026 semester.

Arkansas Educator Commitment Signing Week was initiated by the Arkansas Department of Education in 2019. As part of the observance, current and future educators sign a pledge to educate. According to the Arkansas Department of Education Division of Elementary and Secondary Education, the signature “demonstrates a pledge to the students of Arkansas, the teaching profession and the future of education in the state.”
