Arkansas Tech University hosted approximately 30 individuals for the 2026 Arkansas School Certifying Official Conference at the James and Laurie Bibler Event Center inside Ferguson Student Union on Thursday, May 28.
Several institutions of higher learning, career and technical education providers, apprenticeship programs and governmental agencies were represented at the conference.
Attendees received updates on evolving regulations, policies and laws related to educational financial aid for veterans, military-affiliated personnel and their families. They also learned new information about National Guard training waivers.
The conference was hosted by the Major General William E. Harmon Office of Veteran Services at ATU.
