Pints and Professors at Point Remove at Central Fire Station in Russellville Downtown will feature Dr. Zach Moran, Dr. Daniel A. Belongia and Dr. Phoebe Robertson for its April 2026 edition.
The event, which is sponsored by the ATU Graduate College, will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 14. It is open to the public.
Moran, ATU assistant professor of fisheries science, will speak about alligator gar, the largest species of fish found in Arkansas waterways.
Belongia, ATU professor of music and director of bands, and Robertson, ATU assistant professor of music, will discuss the cultural influences behind “Amerykahn Graffiti,” a 2025 composition for wind band by Katahj Copley.
Described in information provided by the college as “where education meets conversation…over a pint,” Pints and Professors includes a 15-to-25 minute talk followed by open discussion with a goal of making ATU research and innovation accessible, conversational and community-focused.
Pints and Professors is scheduled to continue the second Tuesday of each month through May.
