
Approximately 160 students attended the 2026 Arkansas Tech University College of Business and Economic Development College to Career Conference at Rothwell Hall on Tuesday, March 3.
Participants learned about impactful communications from Kayla Dyson of Walmart and about artificial intelligence from David James of PwC. Kristen Beck from ATU Norman Career Services provided advice on creating a LinkedIn profile, and Alicia Payseno from the Arkansas Hospitality Association made a presentation tailored for students interested in tourism careers.
Misty Duffy of Stone Ward talked about effective marketing, while a panel consisting of Amanda Pearrow of Tyson Foods, Ely Johnson of Big Cedar Lodge, Sarah Pearson of Strike Force and Brandie Gibbs of Denali Corporation gave advice on job interviews.
The sessions were followed by a networking luncheon.
