Eligible ATU Students Invited to Participate in Miss Tech

Arkansas Tech University students who meet the eligibility requirements are invited to register for the 70th Miss Arkansas Tech University scholarship pageant, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at Witherspoon Auditorium.

The deadline to apply as a contestant for Miss Tech 2026 is 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30.

Eligible ATU students with an interest in applying to become a contestant in the 2026 Miss Tech pageant may apply by visiting www.missamerica.org, clicking on “Register” under the “Sign Up” tab at the top of the page and completing the required steps. The Miss Arkansas Tech University pageant is an official preliminary to the Miss America pageant, and the winner will be a contestant in the 2026 Miss Arkansas pageant.

Contestants in the Miss Arkansas Tech University pageant must be full-time, female ATU students and U.S. citizens. Contestants must be no older than 28 on Sept. 30, 2026, and no younger than 18 on Sept. 1, 2026.

Competition categories for 2026 will be personal interview, health and fitness, on-stage conversation, evening gown and talent. All contestants are required to order fitness wear from Rebel Athletic in advance of the pageant.

The new Miss Tech will receive a two-semester tuition scholarship at Arkansas Tech. In all, more than $23,000 in gifts and scholarships were awarded during the 2025 Miss Tech pageant.

Sophie Puckett of Jonesboro was crowned Miss Tech 2025. Puckett and Miss Arkansas 2025 Kennedy Holland of Greenwood are scheduled to be part of the program at the 2026 Miss Arkansas Tech University pageant.

The Miss Tech pageant is sponsored by Delta Zeta sorority.
