Arkansas Tech University has scheduled a series of preview days during the spring 2026 semester that are designed to help high school seniors plan for post-secondary academic success.

ATU Focus Days 2026 are scheduled for:

    • Friday, Jan. 30 (College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
    • Friday, Feb. 13 (College of Arts and Humanities)
    • Friday, Feb. 20 (College of Business and Economic Development)
    • Friday, Feb. 27 (College of Education and Health)

Each event is open to all high school seniors and their parents or supporters.

    Registration is open at www.atu.edu/focusdays.

“ATU Focus Days are immersive preview experiences where students can be an Arkansas Tech student for the day,” said Dr. Valerie Breashears, ATU director of admissions. “Each academic college hosts a designated day, allowing for students interested in majors from that college to explore their chosen field of study more in depth. Attendees are encouraged to attend the ATU Focus Day that more closely relates to their academic areas of interest, but they are welcome to attend any day that fits their schedule.”

Student participants in ATU Focus Days will attend classes, eat a complimentary lunch on campus, engage in campus life, schedule an academic advising appointment and receive a special preview of Ferguson Student Union, which will open during the spring 2026 semester. Students will also enter a drawing for a $1,000 ATU scholarship.

Parents and supporters will attend sessions about student services, financial aid, career planning for the student in their life and opportunities for students to learn and develop beyond the classroom. Lunch will also be provided for parents and supporters.
