
The adult education program at Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus celebrated its fall 2025 GED completers with a graduation ceremony at the ATU-Ozark Student Services Conference Center on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
Graduates were honored for successfully completing their GED requirements and demonstrating perseverance through education.
“They have all persevered and overcome various challenges to achieve and complete the requirements for their GED,” said Dr. Wayne Fawcett, ATU-Ozark director of adult education.
The ceremony featured GED graduate Karla Chapman as guest speaker.
Several students received additional recognition for outstanding achievement.
WAGE I honors were awarded to Lanee Graves, Benjamin Jones, Richard Kepple, Brook Nichols, Angelina Nilsson and Ashlynn Thompson.
WAGE II honors were earned by Graves and Jones.
Honors recognition was presented to Kepple.
“As this is my first GED graduation as director of adult education for Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus, I am extremely proud of all of these students for their accomplishment,” said Fawcett. “They are wonderful examples of persistence and placing value on education, and I wish all of them continued success as they continue as lifelong learners.”
