The 2025 edition of Arkansas Tech University’s largest annual day of community service, Green and Gold Give Back, is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 8.

ATU students who are available to serve are encouraged to assemble at the ATU Office of Campus Recreation building at 513 West L Street in Russellville at 7:30 a.m. Groups will be sent to their volunteer locations beginning at approximately 8 a.m.

ATU alumni and friends as well as businesses and non-profit organizations in Russellville are invited to serve as host locations for Green and Gold Give Back.

There is no charge to serve as a host location and the ATU students will arrive with supplies necessary for raking and removing leaves and pine straw.

ATU alumni and friends and local businesses interested in serving as a host location may send e-mail to campuslife@atu.edu or call (479) 968-0276 for more information and to register.

Three dozen residences, non-profit organizations and businesses in the Russellville area benefited from the volunteer efforts of Arkansas Tech students during Green and Gold Give Back 2024. More than 250 ATU students participated in tasks such as raking leaves, removing limbs, cleaning windows and painting.

Green and Gold Give Back was established in 2013. It is overseen by the ATU Department of Campus Life.
