ATU Provides Orientation Program for New Faculty

Nineteen members of the Arkansas Tech University community participated in an orientation program for incoming faculty members in advance of the fall 2025 semester.

Offered by the ATU Center for Faculty LIFE (Learning, Innovation, Faculty and Engagement), the program seeks to inform and inspire faculty who are new to Arkansas Tech.

Participants in the fall 2025 new faculty orientation program were:

  • Dr. Bryan Dorrel, assistant professor of health and physical education

  • Dr. Lauren Hightower, assistant professor of nursing
  • Morgan Keeling, instructor of nursing
  • JT Lewis, assistant professor of anthropology
  • Dr. Aditya Limaye, assistant professor of finance
  • Dr. Brittany Marshall, assistant professor of nursing
  • Laura Marshall, assistant professor of curriculum and instruction
  • Adam Miller, assistant professor of music and associate director of bands
  • Samantha Mitchell, instructor of computer and information science
  • Dr. Divya Nimma, assistant professor of computer science
  • Dr. Matthew Overduin, assistant professor of mathematics
  • Dr. Jyotheeswaran Panapakam, assistant professor of biology
  • Dr. Adbul Razaque, assistant professor of computer science
  • Dr. Sharika Sproling, assistant professor of rehabilitation science
  • Faith Walker, instructor of business data analytics

Dr. Alexis Johnson, associate professor of communication, is interim director for the ATU Center for Faculty LIFE.

The fall 2025 semester at Arkansas Tech will begin with the first day of classes on Wednesday, Aug. 20.
