ATU Staff Senate Names 2025-26 Officers

Four members of the Arkansas Tech University community will serve as officers for ATU Staff Senate on the Russellville campus during the 2025-26 academic year.

Scott Tomlin is ATU Staff Senate president, while Kim Hilliard is serving as vice president, Whitney Moore is fulfilling the role of secretary and Tanda Patrick Morrison is reporter.

Tomlin is coordinator for the ATU Learning Center. Hilliard is administrative specialist III in the ATU Department of Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Science. Moore is leave and wellness specialist in the ATU Office of Human Resources. Morrison is coordinator of articulation and technology in the ATU Office of the Registrar.

According to the ATU Staff Senate website, the organization’s mission is “to fairly represent Arkansas Tech University’s non-faculty employees and to serve in an advisory capacity to the president with respect to all matters concerning our diverse staff.”

The officers are joined on ATU Staff Senate for 2025-26 by the following senators elected by their peers from each of ATU’s Russellville campus divisions: Andrea Eubanks, Amanda Gardner, Katie Hook and Connie Herring (ATU Division of Academic Affairs); Bethany Brown, Matt Fraser, Bonnie Freeman, Cody Neal, Austin Freeman and Nick Schluterman (ATU Division of Administration and Finance); Amy Anderson, Kate Darr and Cesiley Rideau (ATU Department of Athletics); Melissa South (ATU Division of Advancement); Joceline Argueta, Megan Bell, Jenna Bradley, Shelly Hall, Kacie Lopez and Mackenzie Taylor (ATU Division of Student Affairs); and Rachel Broussard and Madisyn Chance (at-large senators).
