Arkansas Tech University students are eligible to apply for short-term programs offered by The Washington Center in Washington, D.C., during the 2025-26 academic year.
“The world of policy, advocacy and non-profit leadership isn’t just evolving…it’s being re-written in real time,” reads information provided by The Washington Center. “Now is the moment to build the networks and skills needed to navigate change, stay resilient and shape a meaningful future in policy and public service. That’s where The Washington Center’s short-term programs come in.”
The Washington Center offers short-term programs related to health policy, non-profit leadership, politics, policymaking and government. The short-term programs can be completed in approximately one week or less.
The information from the organization goes on to state that participants will “gain real-world insights, expand your professional network with elected officials, policymakers and inspiring change-makers and explore new career paths.”
