Thursday, July 24, was Arkansas Governor’s School Legislators’ Day and AGS Educators’ Day at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville.
Six members of the Arkansas General Assembly had lunch with AGS students from their districts: (photographed, from left-to-right) Rep. Scott Richardson, Rep. Matt Duffield, Rep. Joy Springer, Rep. Zack Gramlich, Rep. Aaron Pilkington and Rep. Lincoln Barnett.
Approximately 55 K-12 teachers from around Arkansas accepted invitations from their high school students to visit and experience AGS.
The visiting teachers and legislators sat in on AGS classes and attended a student panel discussion.
The 46th Arkansas Governor’s School continues at Arkansas Tech in Russellville through Saturday, Aug. 2.
