Several of the top teams in NCAA Division II men’s golf gathered at St. Albans Country Club on Monday and Tuesday to hone their skills on the same course that will host the NCAA Division II Championships next spring.
When the 54-hole NCAA Preview was complete, Arkansas Tech University stood alone at the top of the leaderboard.
The Wonder Boys posted a team score of 855 to finish six strokes ahead of their nearest competition among a 18-team field.
Shawn Tsai (3rd, 73-63-76-212), Francois Jacobs (T-4th, 75-70-68-213), Austin Gean (T-10th, 72-69-75-216), Connor Gaunt (T-18th, 72-71-75-218) and Andre Jacobs (T-21st, 73-72-74-219) contributed to the Wonder Boys’ team title.
Arkansas Tech will complete the fall portion of its 2019-20 men’s golf schedule by competing in the Jerry Hrnciar Invitational Oct. 21-22 at The Territory Golf Club in Duncan, Okla.
