Arkansas Tech University concluded the fall portion of its 2019-20 men’s golf schedule by finishing tied for third at the Jerry Hrnciar Invitational Monday and Tuesday at The Territory Golf Club in Duncan, Okla.
The Wonder Boys amassed a 36-hole team score of 587. Oklahoma Christian University won the team title with a total of 571. Seventeen teams competed in the tournament.
Francois Jacobs (T-7th, 70-73-143), Connor Gaunt (T-15th, 78-69-147), Andre Jacobs (T-18th, 76-72-148), Austin Gean (T-32nd, 75-75-150) and Shawn Tsai (T-62nd, 77-78-155) contributed to Arkansas Tech’s team score.
ATU’s Jackson Marseilles (T-54th, 74-80-154) competed as an individual.
Arkansas Tech competed in five tournaments during the fall 2019 semester and finished in the top four of the final team standings in all five events.
The Wonder Boys will return to action Feb. 17-18 at the Newberry Collegiate, which will be played on the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Resort in South Carolina.
