Jacqueline Klemm earned a top-10 finish in the individual standings to highlight the final tournament of fall 2019 for the Arkansas Tech University women’s golf team.
Klemm posted rounds of 71-72-74 for a 1-over par total of 217 and a share of seventh place in the 2019 University of Arkansas-Little Rock Classic, which was played Sunday through Tuesday at Diamante Golf and Country Club in Hot Springs Village.
The Golden Suns accumulated a 54-hole team score of 905 and finished tied for 11th among 17 teams in the event. Each of the other 16 teams in the tournament were NCAA Division I members.
Cintia Bolanos (T-62nd, 81-74-77-232), Katie Whitfield (T-62nd, 73-80-79-232), Makenzie Douglas (T-71st, 81-75-77-233) and Allie Weiner (T-75th, 75-77-82-234) also represented Arkansas Tech in Hot Springs Village.
The Golden Suns will resume their 2019-20 golf schedule and their pursuit of a sixth consecutive Great American Conference women’s golf championship during the spring 2020 semester.
