ATU’s Pinson Earns Kappa Alpha’s Top Recognition

Arkansas Tech University alumnus Dave Pinson received the highest individual honor Kappa Alpha Order may bestow upon an alumnus during a ceremony in Oklahoma City Feb. 1.

Pinson is the first individual initiated at an Arkansas college or university to earn the Knight Commander’s Accolade, which is awarded as the discretion of the Kappa Alpha knight commander. Pinson is the 243rd individual over the past 52 years to achieve the distinction.

A 2002 graduate of ATU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science, Pinson added a master’s degree from ATU in 2004. He is president of the ATU Alumni Association for the 2020 calendar year.

Pinson owns and operates Trinity MultiFamily, a real estate company based in Fort Smith that does business in more than a dozen states. The firm specializes in property management services for both multifamily and commercial assets.

Pinson’s contributions to Kappa Alpha have included service as a province commander, chapter advisor and leadership institute facilitator.
