ATU’s Myers Recognized for Leadership

Arkansas Tech University faculty member Dr. Kathleen Myers is included in the Women We Admire list of top 50 women leaders of Arkansas for 2023.

Myers is assistant professor of teaching and educational leadership and director of special education in the ATU College of Education and Health. She primarily works with pre-service educators. She teaches undergraduate and graduate students in ATU’s programs in early childhood education, elementary education, secondary education and special education.

In addition, Myers serves as a liaison between ATU and Ray of Hope Academy in Cameroon, Africa. Her ATU students develop lesson plans that are provided to instructors at Ray of Hope.

Myers holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees from Arkansas Tech. She obtained her Doctor of Education degree from Liberty University. She joined the ATU faculty in 2022.
