The Arkansas Tech University Department of Music will host the inaugural ATU Youth Wind Ensemble during the fall 2023 semester.
Band students in grades 9-12 are eligible to audition. Auditions consisting of a recorded portion of all-region music are due by Monday, Sept. 4. Students selected for the ATU Youth Wind Ensemble will be notified on Saturday, Sept. 9.
The ATU Youth Wind Ensemble will rehearse from 3-4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24, Sunday, Oct. 8, and Sunday, Oct. 22.
The experience will culminate in the ATU Youth Wind Ensemble performing a side-by-side concert with the ATU Symphonic Wind Ensemble on Sunday, Nov. 5.
