Forty Arkansas Tech University students attended a media day hosted by Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO) at the Reeves E. Ritchie Training Center in September.
ATU engineering and journalism students were among those who learned about ANO, green energy and response preparations in the event of an emergency. They also toured control room simulators.
The ATU students were hosted by Taylor Kendrick, ATU alumnus and communications specialist for Entergy Nuclear at ANO.
