ATU, RaiseMe Partner to Benefit High School Students

Arkansas Tech University is offering Arkansas high school students a new tool to prepare for college.

Through the RaiseMe partnership with Arkansas Tech University, high school students, as early as ninth grade, will complete college-oriented tasks and showcase their desire to attend college upon graduating from high school. The program is offered at no cost to high school students.

Some of the tasks include volunteering in high school, joining high school clubs and touring the Arkansas Tech campus.

“We are excited to partner with RaiseMe to help students prepare for college,” said Dr. Blake Bedsole, ATU vice president of enrollment management. “We know that college success starts before students arrive at Arkansas Tech University, and this program will help us work with high school students to develop positive habits that will allow students to succeed when they come to campus.”

Participants may also receive a scholarship for their successful participation. Arkansas Tech University is the first institution in the state to partner with RaiseMe.
