The Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus Library has announced that all available campus yearbooks have been digitized and are now accessible to the public through the online research commons for Arkansas Tech University.
The collection includes yearbooks from the institution’s history as Arkansas Valley Vocational Technical School and Arkansas Valley Technical Institute before it became ATU-Ozark Campus.
“These yearbooks are the living memory of our students, staff, faculty and community,” said Kristie Moore, ATU-Ozark Campus librarian. “Digitizing them means we can protect that history and make it accessible to anyone, anywhere. I hope our ATU-Ozark community enjoys exploring these yearbooks and spotting familiar faces, whether it’s themselves, a parent or even a grandparent. These pages are a testament to our history.”
The digital collection currently includes yearbooks from the following years:
- Arkansas Valley Vocational Technical School: 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1977, 1988, 1990 and 1991
- Arkansas Valley Technical Institute: 1992, 2000 and 2001
Anyone interested in donating or loaning a yearbook that is not part of the collection to be scanned and preserved may call (479) 508-3321 or send e-mail to kmoore36@atu.edu.
The online collection provides free access for anyone to view or download. Physical copies of the yearbooks are also available for in-person viewing at the ATU-Ozark Campus Library.
