The All In Campus Democracy Challenge has rated the voter engagement action plan developed and implemented by the Arkansas Tech University Department of Campus Life among the best on university and college campuses around the United States.
The ATU voter engagement action plan received a score of 32, which places Arkansas Tech among 129 institutions of higher learning in the U.S. that earned the Highly Established Action Plan seal for 2026. A total of 310 campuses submitted action plans in hopes of gaining the Highly Established Action Plan designation.
“This distinction is evidence of the success that Arkansas Tech has achieved in promoting civic learning and college student voter participation,” said Chelsea Neal, ATU associate dean for campus life and director of Ferguson Student Union. “We offer our congratulations and our appreciation to Megan Bell, director of the ATU Center for Student Engagement and First-Generation Success, for her leadership of this initiative. By engaging partners across campus, Megan has created a culture of civic participation on our campus and helped our students understand their responsibilities as citizens.”
