ATCC Director Joins Board of the National Council for Local Administrators

Arkansas Tech Career Center (ATCC) Director, Pat Edmunds was recently selected to be a member of the National Council for Local Administrators (NCLA).

Edmunds became a board member in the Spring of 2019. She continued her duties at the 2019 NCLA conference in Tucson, Arizona September 25-27, 2019.

According to their website, NCLA is “a national synergy of career and technical education (CTE) administrators, we connect forward-thinking education professionals, contribute to the nation’s economic prosperity, and create opportunities for transformative professional development.”

Edmunds spoke about her excitement in being involved with the NCLA.

“I’m always in the culture of improvement. I hope to learn a lot from board members, because there is a vast array of experience and knowledge, not just in Arkansas, but nationwide.”

Edmunds looks forward to bringing new ideas back to ATCC to serve both present and future students best.

ATCC is one of the largest secondary career and technical centers in Arkansas serving nearly 1000 high school students at the ATCC Russellville Campus as well as the satellite campuses located in Clarksville, Danville, Ozark, and Paris. Students arrive from Atkins, Clarksville, County Line, Danville, Dardanelle, Dover, Hector, Lamar, Magazine, Oark, Ozark, Paris, Pottsville, Russellville, Scranton, Two Rivers, Western Yell County, and Westside Johnson County high schools to earn concurrent credit and recognized industry credentials.
