Kellie Hopkins has been hired at Arkansas Tech University-Ozark Campus as an industry training specialist and will teach certified nursing assistant and phlebotomy courses.
Hopkins holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Arkansas Tech and is a licensed practical nurse in Arkansas.
“I know I’m exactly where God needs me to be,” said Hopkins. “Yes, I’m teaching my students the skills, compassion, leadership and confidence they need to strive for excellence. But I’m also meeting them right where they are in life, reminding them they are enough. I hope all of my students can say they have felt seen, included and loved in my classroom. If I leave them with anything, I hope it is that.”
Hopkins brings 20 years of medical experience and education into the classroom. For the past three years, she has taught CNA and phlebotomy courses at ATU-Ozark.
